Historic plaza and hotel-lined streets in Seville

Where you stay

3, 4, and 5 star hotels

Comfortable hotels we would send our own friends to—private bathrooms, a good neighborhood, and the option to upgrade.

You stay in three-, four-, and five-star hotels, not casas particulares or big-box resorts. The published itinerary uses a solid 3- or 4-star base; 4- and 5-star upgrades are available when you want more polish, a better view, or a landmark address.

Think a real neighborhood, a walk to dinner, and a room with its own bathroom, air conditioning, and reliable Wi-Fi. Breakfast is at the hotel.

We choose hotels for where they sit: a good neighborhood, restaurants you can walk to, and a pickup that does not eat the morning. The exact property is confirmed closer to your dates.

Small groups and private trips

Small-group tours

On a small-group tour, 3- and 4-star hotels are the default so the whole group stays in the same part of town—same streets, same breakfast, one pickup. Nobody waiting across the city while the van does a scavenger hunt. Ask us if a 4- or 5-star upgrade is available on a given departure.

Private tours

On a private tour the standard stay is still a well-located 3- or 4-star hotel. You can upgrade room category or move to a 4- or 5-star hotel where the city supports it. Upgrades are quoted before you confirm.

What these hotels are like

A good location

Near the restaurants, the old city, the valley, or the water—depending on the stop. Hotels on our list are picked for that, not only for the photo.

Your own bathroom

Every room we book has a private en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, and hot water.

Star ratings you can count on

We work with 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels. The itinerary states the baseline; upgrades are optional and confirmed in writing.

Character, not a resort strip

Historic centers, plaza-side addresses, and well-run city hotels—not an all-inclusive tower on a highway.

Cities on our routes

A look at the streets around your stay

These photos show the neighborhoods and landmarks near the hotels we use. Your assigned hotel may be a different building—we show them so you can see the standard and the setting we aim for.

Madrid

Austrias streets, the Prado side of town, and hotels we actually like to walk from. 3- and 4-star bases, with 5-star upgrades in the center.

Seville

Santa Cruz, the cathedral, and the river. Compact 3- and 4-star hotels close to tapas, with 5-star upgrades near the Alcázar.

Granada

Albaicín lanes and hotels facing the Alhambra or the center. A calmer 3- or 4-star stay, with higher-category options when you want the view.

Mediterranean coast

Beach-side 3- and 4-star hotels with a private bath—not a resort tower. Ask about a 4- or 5-star upgrade when the itinerary hits the coast.

Beach stops

Well-kept 3- and 4-star rooms near the water on days that are about the coast, with upgrade options where the town has them.

We confirm your hotel closer to the trip

We always try to get you the strongest option from our list at the star level on your booking. We cannot promise a specific hotel name on the day you book.

These hotels take reservations from many places—their own site, other agencies, and walk-ins. We wait until we are closer to your dates, then we confirm the property and room category.

You will know exactly where you are staying once that confirmation is in. Until then, this page is the honest picture: 3-, 4-, and 5-star hotels, with upgrades quoted when you want them.
